About the Event
Arambol, we’re back! The wait is almost over. Skank It returns for its Official Season Opening Party, bringing fresh energy, international sounds and our ever-growing community back together for another season of music, movement and madness.
Now in its fourth year, Skank It has grown from a gathering of music lovers into a community-driven underground music movement in Goa. By January 2027, we’ll be celebrating five years of bringing people together through music, culture and unforgettable dancefloor moments.
For the season opener, we’re bringing together an exciting lineup of international and local selectors, with sounds moving across bass-heavy electronic music, underground club sounds, reggae, dub and beyond.
Headlining the night is Formella, the London-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer known for her deep, trippy and bass-driven selections, moving effortlessly between dubstep, UK bass, jungle, psychedelic drum & bass. A member of Berlin’s Femme Bass Mafia, she brings a strong connection to soundsystem culture and underground music communities.
Joining her is Student, part of the Kittenpop collective, known for exploring drum & bass with heavy basslines and underground dancefloor energy.
Representing the homegrown scene, Sanyas-I, Goa-based DJ, MC and reggae culture advocate, brings his signature blend of reggae, dub, dancehall and Caribbean sounds, connecting roots music with contemporary bass culture.
Completing the lineup is Padrino, adding another chapter to the night’s musical journey and keeping the dancefloor moving.
This is more than just a season opener. It’s a celebration of the people, artists, dancers and music lovers who have helped build Skank It into what it is today.
New season. Fresh energy. Same community. Bigger vibes.
Come reconnect with your people, discover new sounds and kick off the season with us at Twice in Nature, Arambol.
